My Country Count

“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.” – Susan Sontag

Counting unique country visits – not repeats.

Antigua*, Australia, Barbados*, Belgium*, Belize, Bosnia*, Botswana, Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Dominica*,  Dominican Republic*, Ecuador (Galapagos), England, France (Paris), Germany, Greece, Honduras, Ireland, Italy, Laos, Madagascar, Mexico, Namibia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Palau, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico**, Rwanda, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, Thailand, Tonga, Turkey, Uganda.

* Limited time spent there
** I’m counting it

My personal rules on counting a country: Airports don’t count. I only count a country if I spent time and did something there.

I was hesitant to add the four Caribbean islands since they were part of a cruise. We did do something active on each island, but I don’t feel we really experienced each individual island. For now they stay in the count.
